Return & Refunds Policy

Geelong Appliance Spares delivers products Australia-wide however at this time we do NOT accept international orders through our website.

Shipping is calculated on individual items by entering the postcode of the destination address. If ordering multiple items, the combined shipping cost is calculated and displayed in the shopping cart.

For large items, we will contact you with a shipping quote prior to payment.

Delivery Timeframe
Orders are dispatched within 1 business day if the items are in stock. Parts that are not in stock are ordered within 1 business day from the manufacturer.

Parcel Post:
Shipping times for Parcel Post are estimated at between 3-10 business days depending on your location within Australia.

Customer Service Policy
Geelong Appliance Spares endeavors to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. If an ordered item is not available, or we are unable to fulfill your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.

Return of Items Not Ordered.
If the item received is not what was ordered Geelong Appliance Spares should be notified within 7 days of successful delivery. Returns are valid only if the item is returned in its original condition within 30 days of delivery. If the item received is not what was ordered, please do not open the original sealed packaging of the item. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered, and no further claim can be raised thereafter. The correct item will be sent within 1 business day of notification or if the item is not in stock will be ordered within 1 business day of notification. If required a refund will be issued within 1 business day of receipt of the returned item. Refunds are done only to the payment method used to purchase the original item. If the item received is not what was ordered, please see our Return Process.

Return of Damaged or Faulty Items
Any items received damaged or faulty should be reported to Geelong Appliance Spares within 7 days of delivery. We will then advise if the return of the item is necessary. If a return is not necessary, we may ask for photographs of the damaged or faulty item where possible. If a return is necessary returns are valid only if the item is returned within 30 days of delivery. If you require a replacement for the damaged or faulty item it will be sent out within 1 business day of the item being deemed damaged or faulty. If the item is not in stock it will be ordered within 1 business day of the item being deemed damaged or faulty. If required a refund will be issued within 1 business day of the item being deemed damaged or faulty. Refunds are done only to the payment method used to purchase the original item. Return of Electrical Items that have been fitted
All Electrical items must be fitted by a properly qualified person (a person qualified to carry out electrical repairs). If an electrical item that has been fitted is to be considered for a return, we will ask for a copy of a work invoice from a properly qualified person or business. The invoice must state the work carried out and list all parts replaced. We reserve the right to have the item tested by a properly qualified person once the item is returned before we make a decision on replacement or refund. Electrical items cannot be returned and will not be replaced or refunded if they are fitted and do not fix the problem because of miss diagnosis by either the customer or a properly qualified person. If it is deemed impossible to ascertain if the fitted electrical item is faulty a new replacement item will be issued.

Return of Incorrectly Ordered Items

If an item is ordered incorrectly or by mistake Geelong Appliance Spares should be notified within 7 days of delivery. Returns are valid only if the part is returned in its original condition within 30 days of delivery. Geelong Appliance Spares will offer an exchange for incorrectly ordered parts or parts ordered by mistake. The part must be returned as per our Return Process, (See Return Process), a refund for the original purchase price of the item will be issued within 1 business day of us receiving the unwanted item. Refunds are done only to the payment method used to purchase the original item.

A new order should then be created for the correct item.

Return Process

If you believe a return is required, please contact Geelong Appliance Spares by email:sales@geelongappliancespares.com.au Or by phone: 03 5278 7701. If your request is approved, we ask that you repack the item and include a copy of the original invoice and a note stating the reason for the return. A consignment label will be issued via email from Geelong Appliance Spares which is to be attached to the package and the package lodged at an Australia Post outlet.

If the item received is not what was ordered, or the item is received damaged or faulty and requires a return, we will be happy to pay the return postage and credit the incorrect part.

1. We do not accept change of mind purchases on any item which is of an electrical nature. By doing this we can guarantee our customers that they are purchasing new parts, and not parts that have been fitted to someone else’s machine previously.
2. We do not accept change of mind purchases on any item that has been specially procured and they must be paid for in full at the time of order, and, are non-returnable and non-refundable if you change your mind for any reason. (including misdiagnosis of faults as described above)
3. All parts must be collected within 21 days of notification. Parts not collected within this 21 day period may be disposed of or returned to the supplier. Customers will be deemed to be notified after three failed attempts to contact them on three different days on the phone number given or after we’ve sent an email to the email address provided to us, whether or not the email is successfully delivered. Customers are responsible for ensuring their spam filter settings are appropriate
4. Electrical components may not be returned for credit.(that’s an item which has electricity connected to it such as elements, pumps, PCB’s, valves etc)
